Set off and conquer the mountains trail running in the Portes du Soleil 12 resorts thanks to more than 400km of marked trails.
From the start of one of the 12 resorts, run across boundaries in full safety with a map, a free mobile phone app “Trail Running Portes du Soleil” and marked trails.
Follow your progress live with a GPS, live weather forecasts using webcams and an emergency alert system. Stay relaxed and focus on the essential: the magnificent setting provided by the Chablais mountains.
At the Abondance Tourist Office you can pick up a free map of all the trail running itineraries in the Portes du Soleil.
The 54 permanent itineraries, that start from one of the 22 chairlifts or cable cars open in the summer, let you run serenely in the mountains in complete safety.

Circuit 44 Blue - Abondance via Plaine Joux
This blue circuit takes you to Abondance from La Chapelle d’Abondance traversing the forests alongside the Mont de Grange. This trail route suits regular runners who want to discover new sensations in the mountains.
Its full distance is 9.2 kilometres (including 460m elevation gain).
Circuit 47 Red - Pointe des Follys
Explore the Pointe des Follys, a well-known summit for local Abondance Valley trail-running enthusiasts! This 14.5km itinerary with 900m elevation gain offers magnificent views across the entire Abondance Valley, the Dents du Midi and Lake Léman.
A fairly difficult trail suitable for more experienced trail runners who want to enjoy and discover diverse settings whilst out running (forests and meadows, traditional farms and mountain chalets).
Circuit 48 Black - Skyrun Entre Deux Pertuis
Do you want to explore Abondance’s lakes and summits? Choose this loop that will enchant you with its many panoramic views and varying terrain. It is one of the most beautiful loops in the Portes du Soleil to explore, for experienced trail runners only!
Its full distance is 18 kilometres (including 1598m elevation gain).
